What’s Required that’s not included in your kit?

  1. Manual temperature control, if your current temperature control is electronic. This board will not work with an electronic temperature control.
  2. Machine coin mechanism and dollar bill validator must be MDB.
  3. Optional cashless sysetms like PayRange® and ePort® must be MDB.

Important Notes

  • This board currently works with US and Canadian currency only. It is not compatible with other currency.
  • Due to the unstable power grid in Puerto Rico, we cannot provide any warranty on boards sold to Puerto Rico.
  • If you’re using a first run of the Merlin 2000, with the very first original board, you will need a motor wire jumper kit. This is a kit that Royal sold because after the first run of machines they changed the pin output. We have only run into this issue one time in all the upgrades we have ever done; most machines have already been converted to the standard motor wiring output.
  • 90 day warranty included on boards for workmanship only. No warranty for misuse of boards, damage due to water, power surges or vandalism.
